Membership T&C

Membership 

• Eligibility
  Membership is available to individuals aged 18 years and above who provide a valid mobile number registered.
• Membership Type
  Mega Kulim Pharmacy Membership is provided free of charge and remains valid for as long as the membership programme is offered by Mega Kulim Pharmacy.
• Personal Membership
  Membership is issued to the registered individual and cannot be transferred, shared, or used by another person.
• How to Become a Member
  Customers may register through any of the following channels:
  • The Mega Kulim Pharmacy Mobile App;
  • At the cashier counter of any participating Mega Kulim Pharmacy outlet; or
  • The Mega Kulim Pharmacy Official Online Store.
• Membership Fee
  There is no annual membership fee.
• One Account per Member
  Each individual is allowed to maintain one Mega Kulim Pharmacy Membership account only. Members should not create multiple accounts or allow others to use their account.
• Points and Rewards
  Membership points, vouchers, e-stamps, and other rewards earned through the programme cannot be transferred, exchanged, or assigned to another member, unless otherwise stated by Mega Kulim Pharmacy.
• Reward Conditions
  Points, vouchers, e-stamps, promotional rewards, and other membership benefits are subject to their respective eligibility criteria, terms, validity periods, and availability. Mega Kulim Pharmacy may impose additional conditions for specific rewards or promotions.
• Earning Points & Benefits
  Members must identify themselves before payment is completed by scanning their membership QR code through the Mega Kulim Pharmacy Mobile App or providing their registered mobile number. Requests to credit points or rewards after the transaction has been completed may not be accepted.
• Reward Redemption
  Members may utilise their available points, vouchers, e-stamps, and other rewards according to the applicable redemption requirements. Mega Kulim Pharmacy reserves the right to determine the products, services, outlets, channels, and periods in which specific rewards may be redeemed.
• Digital Membership
  Mega Kulim Pharmacy Membership is entirely digital. No physical membership card will be provided.
• Account Security
  Members are responsible for keeping their account credentials, login information, and redemption PIN confidential. Members should immediately notify Mega Kulim Pharmacy if they suspect unauthorised access or misuse of their account.
• Where Membership Can Be Used
  Membership benefits may be used at participating Mega Kulim Pharmacy outlets and designated online platforms, subject to the applicable programme rules and promotional conditions.
• Changes to the Programme
  Mega Kulim Pharmacy may, at its discretion, modify, replace, suspend, or discontinue any part of the membership programme, including its benefits, rewards, or these Terms & Conditions, at any time. Any changes will take effect from the date determined by Mega Kulim Pharmacy.

Point Rewards

• Earning Points
  Members will receive 1 point for every RM1 spent on eligible purchases at participating Mega Kulim Pharmacy outlets and through the Mega Kulim Pharmacy Official Online Store. Certain products, services, promotions, or transactions may be excluded from point collection.
• Calculation of Points
  Points are calculated based on the final eligible purchase amount actually paid by the member, after applicable discounts, deductions, and other adjustments. Any cents or rounding differences will not be counted towards points.
  Example: A final bill of RM80.99 will be credited with 80 points.
• Membership Verification
  Members must scan their membership QR code through the mobile app or provide their registered mobile number before payment in order to receive points for the transaction.
• No Backdated Points
  Point accumulation starts from the date of membership registration. Requests to credit points from previous or completed transactions will not be accepted.
• Receipt Retention
  Members are encouraged to retain their purchase receipts for at least six (6) months should any discrepancy arise concerning their points balance.
• Point Earning Rate
  Mega Kulim Pharmacy may determine, revise, or introduce different point earning rates from time to time. Any applicable rate will be subject to the terms of the relevant promotion or programme.
• Point Validity
  Unless otherwise stated, points earned are valid for 24 months from the date they are credited to the member's account. Expired points will be automatically removed and will not be reinstated.
• Bulk Purchases
  Points may not be awarded for bulk or wholesale purchases. Mega Kulim Pharmacy reserves the right to determine whether a transaction qualifies as a bulk purchase.
• Excluded Products & Services
  Certain products and services may not qualify for point collection, including but not limited to selected medications, prepaid reloads, mobile reloads, bill payment services, and other items specified by Mega Kulim Pharmacy. The list of excluded items may be updated from time to time. 
• Third-Party Platforms
  Purchases made through third-party online marketplaces or delivery platforms, including Lazada, Shopee, GrabMart, TikTok Shop, and other platforms designated by Mega Kulim Pharmacy, will not qualify for points unless otherwise stated.
• Promotional Purchases
  Selected promotional products, special offers, or campaign items may be excluded from point collection. The applicable eligibility will be stated in the respective promotion or campaign terms.
• Point Redemption
  Members may redeem their accumulated points for purchase discounts at participating Mega Kulim Pharmacy outlets or through the Mega Kulim Pharmacy Official Online Store. A minimum of 400 points is required to initiate a redemption. Once the minimum threshold is reached, members may redeem any available points balance, subject to the applicable redemption terms and conditions.
• No Cash Conversion
  Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged directly for cash. Points may only be utilised through the redemption options made available by Mega Kulim Pharmacy.
• Redemption Verification
  Members must complete the required membership verification process before points can be redeemed. This may include verification through a redemption PIN, OTP, or other authentication method implemented by Mega Kulim Pharmacy.
• Points Must Be Credited Before Redemption
  Points can only be redeemed after they have been successfully credited to the member's account. Pending or uncredited points cannot be used for redemption.
• Finality of Redemption
  Once a point redemption has been successfully completed, it cannot be cancelled, exchanged, returned, or refunded, unless otherwise determined by Mega Kulim Pharmacy.
• Adjustment Following Returns or Refunds
  Mega Kulim Pharmacy may deduct or reverse points that were awarded or redeemed for transactions that are subsequently returned, refunded, cancelled, or adjusted. This may not apply where an exchange is made for products of equivalent value, subject to Mega Kulim Pharmacy's assessment.
• Correction & Reversal of Points
  Mega Kulim Pharmacy reserves the right to correct, deduct, suspend, or reverse points that were incorrectly awarded or redeemed due to system errors, processing errors, misuse, suspected fraudulent activity, abuse of the membership programme, or violation of these Terms & Conditions. Such adjustments may be made without prior notice where reasonably necessary.
  
  

Birthday Rewards

1. Birthday vouchers are available to Mega Kulim Pharmacy Members who have provided a valid date of birth in their membership profile.
2. Each eligible member may receive one (1) birthday voucher per calendar year during their birthday month. Mega Kulim Pharmacy will determine the voucher issuance date.
3. Each eligible member may use the birthday voucher once during their birthday month, subject to availability and while stocks last. Adding or claiming the voucher through the Mega Kulim Pharmacy Mobile App does not guarantee its availability.
4. Birthday vouchers are redeemable at participating Mega Kulim Pharmacy physical outlets only, unless otherwise stated on the voucher.
5. Birthday vouchers are valid only during the member’s birthday month. Any unused voucher will automatically expire and will not be extended or reissued.
6. Birthday vouchers are non-transferable and may only be used by the member to whom the voucher was issued.
7. Each birthday voucher is subject to its stated terms, including any applicable product exclusions, minimum spending requirements, or other restrictions.
8. Birthday vouchers have no monetary or cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or other forms of payment.
9. Mega Kulim Pharmacy reserves the right to cancel, withdraw, or invalidate any birthday voucher where there is reasonable suspicion of misuse, fraudulent activity, unauthorised transfer, or violation of the applicable Terms & Conditions.

Termination of Membership

1. Members may request to terminate their Mega Kulim Pharmacy Membership at any time.
2. Members may submit a termination request by:
   1. Sending an email to feedback@megakulim.com.my; or
   2. Visiting any Mega Kulim Pharmacy outlet for assistance.
3. The membership account will be terminated within 30 working days upon receipt of the termination request.
4. Membership termination is permanent and cannot be reversed. Once the account is terminated, any unused points, vouchers, rewards, and other membership benefits will be forfeited and cannot be reinstated.
5. Upon termination of the membership account, all accumulated points and rewards will be cancelled without compensation.
6. Mega Kulim Pharmacy reserves the right to suspend or terminate a membership account where there is reasonable suspicion of fraud, misuse, unauthorised activity, or violation of these Terms & Conditions.
7. Mega Kulim Pharmacy may also suspend or terminate a membership account where necessary to protect the integrity and proper operation of the membership programme.

General Terms

1. The Mega Kulim Pharmacy Membership is issued by and remains the property of Mega Kulim Pharmacy Sdn. Bhd.
2. Mega Kulim Pharmacy shall not be responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other losses, damages, costs, or expenses arising from the use of the Membership Programme, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
3. Mega Kulim Pharmacy reserves the right to accept or reject any membership application at its discretion.
4. All membership benefits, points, vouchers, rewards, and promotional offers are subject to availability and the applicable terms, conditions, eligibility requirements, and limitations specified by Mega Kulim Pharmacy.
5. Mega Kulim Pharmacy may temporarily suspend or restrict the earning or redemption of points and rewards where there is a system failure, technical issue, maintenance, interruption, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
6. Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account login details, passwords, PINs, OTPs, and other security information. Mega Kulim Pharmacy will not be responsible for any loss arising from the unauthorised disclosure or use of such information by a member.
7. Mega Kulim Pharmacy may restrict, suspend, or block access to a membership account if there are reasonable grounds to believe that the account has been misused, compromised, or involved in fraudulent or unauthorised activity.
8. While reasonable efforts are made to ensure that information published through the Mega Kulim Pharmacy Mobile App, website, promotional materials, and other communication channels is accurate and current, Mega Kulim Pharmacy does not guarantee that all information will always be complete, accurate, or error-free.
9. Mega Kulim Pharmacy may communicate membership-related information, programme updates, promotions, or changes to members through various channels, including the Mega Kulim Pharmacy Mobile App, website, SMS, email, push notifications, social media, in-store notices, or other communication channels deemed appropriate.
10. Any new announcement, update, or communication issued by Mega Kulim Pharmacy regarding the Membership Programme may replace or supersede previous information relating to the same subject, unless otherwise stated.
11. Where a member has a valid claim relating to incorrectly deducted or uncredited points or rewards, Mega Kulim Pharmacy's responsibility, where applicable, will generally be limited to correcting the relevant points or rewards in the member's account.
12. Mega Kulim Pharmacy shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, economic, or loss-of-profit damages arising from participation in or use of the Membership Programme, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Mega Kulim Pharmacy may introduce additional rules, procedures, policies, or specific terms relating to particular membership benefits, rewards, promotions, or services. These shall be read together with these Terms & Conditions.
14. These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, and members agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
15. If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to remain valid and effective.
16. All trademarks, logos, artwork, promotional materials, content, and other intellectual property used in connection with the Mega Kulim Pharmacy Membership Programme remain the property of their respective owners. Members may not reproduce or use such materials without prior permission.
17. Any enquiry or dispute concerning membership points, rewards, transactions, or other aspects of the Membership Programme should be submitted to feedback@megakulim.com.my within seven (7) days from the date of the relevant transaction or occurrence.
18. Mega Kulim Pharmacy reserves the right to determine the interpretation and application of these Terms & Conditions. Mega Kulim Pharmacy's decision on matters relating to the Membership Programme shall be final, subject to applicable laws.
19. Mega Kulim Pharmacy may revise, replace, or introduce changes to the point system, reward structure, membership benefits, redemption rules, or other programme features from time to time.
20. Mega Kulim Pharmacy reserves the right to amend, update, supplement, suspend, or terminate these Terms & Conditions or any part of the Membership Programme at any time. Where appropriate, updates may be communicated through the available communication channels.
21. Continued use of the Mega Kulim Pharmacy Membership after any changes take effect will be deemed as acceptance of the revised Terms & Conditions.
22. Mega Kulim Pharmacy shall not be responsible for any loss, inconvenience, or inability to use membership benefits resulting from changes, suspension, interruption, or termination of the Membership Programme, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

Data Protection and Privacy Policy

1. During membership registration and throughout participation in the Membership Programme, members may be required to provide personal information such as name, date of birth, mobile number, email address, and other information necessary for membership administration.
2. Mega Kulim Pharmacy will collect, use, store, and process members' personal information in accordance with applicable Malaysian personal data protection and privacy laws.
3. Members' personal information will be handled with reasonable care and appropriate security measures will be implemented to protect it against unauthorised access, disclosure, misuse, alteration, loss, or destruction.
4. Personal information may be used for purposes relating to membership administration, transaction processing, points and rewards management, customer service, account verification, programme improvement, and other purposes permitted by applicable law.
5. Where permitted by law and subject to the member's applicable preferences or consent, Mega Kulim Pharmacy may use membership information to provide promotional materials, marketing communications, personalised offers, and information about products, services, or campaigns.
6. Members who do not wish to receive promotional or direct marketing communications may contact Mega Kulim Pharmacy at feedback@megakulim.com.my to update their communication preferences.
7. Mega Kulim Pharmacy may disclose or share personal information where required or permitted by applicable law, regulatory requirements, court orders, or with authorised service providers and business partners where necessary to operate and administer the Membership Programme.
8. By registering for and using the Mega Kulim Pharmacy Membership, members acknowledge and agree to the collection and use of their personal information in accordance with the applicable Mega Kulim Pharmacy Privacy Policy.
