Duphalac® helps to relieve
constipation in all ages by effectively softening stools. It is an effective
laxative with a prebiotic effect for healthy bowel regulation. It is suitable
for infants, children, adults, and the elderly. Duphalac® can also be used by
pregnant and lactating mothers, diabetic patients, and patients with renal
insufficiency.

gut health by supporting the growth of good bacteria like Bifidobacterium and
Lactobacillus

What is it used for?
Constipation: regulation of the
colonic physiological rhythm
When soft stool is considered of
medical benefit (for example in those suffering from haemorrhoids, or patients
who have undergone colonic/anal surgery)
Duphalac® is a clear, viscous,
colourless to brownish yellow aqueous solution (liquid) for oral administration
containing 667g lactulose per 1000ml.
What is the recommended dosage
for constipation relief?
Starting dose daily: 15-45ml
(adult and adolescents), 15ml (children 7-14 years), 5-10ml (children 1-6
years), up to 5 ml (infants under 1 year)
Maintenance dose daily: 15-30ml
(adult and adolescents), 10-15ml (children 7-14 years), 5-10ml (children 1-6
years), up to 5 ml (infants under 1 year)
